Stepping Stones Preschool

District 622 Community Education's preschool programs enable children to build positive self images that develop their confidence, independence, social skills and success as lifelong learners. The classrooms and age appropriate activities are planned to provide a variety of meaningful "hands-on" learning experiences in the areas of reading/math readiness, science/social studies, art/sensory, music, dramatic play, motor activities, speech and language.

Each child is supported and encouraged in their social, emotional, physical, intellectual and creative growth and development. Classrooms provide all children the chance to learn from each other side by side.

Stepping Stones is a two, three or five-day-a week preschool for three, four and five-year olds where children learn and play in a classroom setting with their peers. This positive experience allows preschoolers to separate from their parents.

Parent education opportunities are offered in conjunction with this program.

Classes run from September to May.
